ZT Solid State Solution
Since 2010, ZT has established a core competence in supporting legacy telecom products. Our charter has been to focus solely on supporting our customers by extending the life of legacy systems. Much of traditional legacy equipment deployed in the last 30 years have used mechanical Hard Disk Drive (HDD), shown in figure 1. As these HDDs are reaching the limits of their expected life, ZT has come up with a solution to seamlessly replace your existing HDD with a more reliable Solid State Drive (SSD), shown in figure 2.

Many legacy systems utilize mechanical HDDs. The actual systems are often very robust, however the HDDs in these systems have been spinning for many years (20 is typical) and are reaching the end of their lifecycle. As HDDs age and they near end-of-life, they exhibit more and more random read errors, until they eventually fail completely.
Many vendors will no longer repair those systems or will require expensive Last-Time-Buys for replacement units.
ZT has come up with a robust solution to replace these disk drives with modern flash memory based SSD devices that will add new life to these aging systems.
Our intent is to upgrade obsolete disk drives with new updated assemblies that will be form, fit, and function equivalent to the existing drives. The goal of the ZT solution is to be transparent and function with the existing software.
